The Challenge: Starting with a napkin sketch from a world-renowned architect, the design eye of a local theatrical designer, a tight schedule and a difficult site, Olson General Contractors was charged with the delivery of a new corporate headquarters and warehouse space for this creative event services company. The challenge was not in a lack of ideas, but in harnessing those ideas into a functional and aesthetically pleasing space.

The Olson Solution: While utilizing the best of all creative input and diligently managing budget and schedule, Olson delivered a space that not only graces the neighborhood with its presence, but gives Skyway a highly functional, bright and open space that reflects the company’s sense of fun, excitement and discovery. The building was designed specifically to better complement their existing enterprises while allowing for future expansion. Reception has been very positive as a once polluted, ugly corner has become vibrant and vital in a growing commercial corridor of Minneapolis.
