The Challenge: The ministries of a vital and growing congregation were hampered by cramped, out-of-date facilities and the absence of handicap accessibility throughout their historically significant building. Early estimates by architectural and construction firms suggested that needed improvements could not be accomplished within their financing limits.

The Olson Solution: The design/build team assembled by Olson, working with the Church Building Committee, used a fresh approach to meet both budget objectives and space needs. A unique approach to structural engineering allowed the sanctuary's expansion with little noticeable impact to interior detailing leading to an award from the Anoka City Histroical Society. Members now enjoy an expanded, barrier-free facility which looks and feels like new. The completed project has met with rave reviews from congregation members, neighbors and visitors alike.
