3,000 Sq. Ft. Office Remodel
Architect: Russell Rosa, Rosa Architectural Group
The Challenge: Growth over a period of 30 years had created a hodge-podge
of tired office spaces scattered throughout the Boring Machine complex. Related
HVAC systems were marginally functional and the building was without any ADA
compliant bathroom facilities. Funds for needed updates were limited.
The Olson Solution: Olson's design/build team proposed a solution which
consolidated office space around a central office/engineering hub. The consolidation
of space has in turn opened up a significant amount of production floor allowing
for the introduction of new machining centers without adding a single square
foot of new space. A once cramped front door vestibule has become a bright, open,
inviting entry. Longtime customers have entered the new office area and quickly
turned around and exited the building thinking they had walked into the wrong
building, a tribute to the success of the design and building team.
