The Challenge: The client defined three objectives in assigning the design/build contract for its new Williams Hill facility to Olson General Contractors: create functional space with flexibility to accommodate future growth; design an architectuarally appealing building; and hold total costs within strict budget limitations. Adding to the complexity of the project were a brownfield site with lingering problems, restrictive design guidelines, and a short five-month window in which to complete construction.

The Olson Solution: Owner, architect and Olson General Contractors worked together in harmony to achieve a new building that is striking in design, outstanding in function and exceptionally competitive in terms of overall cost. This project proved again the ability of the tried-and-tested design/build process to deliver a quality product on a time and cost-sensitive basis.
