17,000 sq. ft. education center addition to existing church complex
Architect: Paul Madson & Associates

The Challenge: The members of King of Grace Lutheran Church needed to expand their school complex to accommodate the congregation's rapid growth. The challenge was to meet all of their space requirements within the limits of their $1 million budget.
The Olson Solution: Convinced of the value of the design/build process for achieving significant cost savings, the conregagtion's leadership selected Olson General Contractors to help identify and quantify their space needs, and then plan and construct the addition. Olson's staff worked closely with the church's building committee in guiding the project, including integrating volunteer labor and contributed materials into its construction.
The 17,00 sq.ft., two-story brick addition-including four new classrooms, a gymnasium, lockers and kitchen facilities-met all of King of Grace's objectives. If was completed by Olson on time and under budget.
